An otherwise ordinary anthro lizard, Caleb, has a pretty interesting secret: He's a were-shark! It's not something he plans on telling anyone about, he's oddly embarrassed about the whole thing, to the point he uses a different name in his shark form to keep it secret: Belac (He's not very creative). Every now and then, he'll head out to the ocean for a dive, and once he's absolutely sure no one's around, he'll trigger his transformation. It's a good thing he's got that, too, he's pretty bad at holding his breath, though he doesn't breathe until the change finishes, worried his gills won't be ready yet. Once it's done, he gives a happy sigh, his new gills venting the air his body no longer has any use for, and takes an aquatic breath, ready to explore below the waves!

*this lizard was on the beach, getting ready for a dive underwater while also looking around to see if anyone is around... arriving at the beach was a flareon, someone you don't see everyday at the beach...they happen to notice the lizard walking into the water and the flareon curiously walked closer to them, hoping they won't see the flareon yet*

The lizard doesn't see them, soon swimming in the water. Once he's a bit of distance out, he takes a deep breath and dives under.

*the flareon curiously gets in the water, even tho it can barely swim... they swim to the location of where the lizard dived to, then with a sharp gasp they plunge underwater, trying to look for the lizard as they swim down*

They can see the lizard at the bottom, who's nervously looking around with a blush... Before he smiles, and his body starts to change! He turns grey, fins form on his back and tail, his feet turn into flippers, and a set of gills forms on his neck. The lizard, now a shark, exhales the air he'd been holding through his gills, switching to breathing water.

The shark can be heard gasping in surprise, and he looks up at the flareon, a blush quickly covering his entire face... Before he bolts off into a cave to hide!

*the flareon was a bit surprised but the sudden movements, they quickly swim off to try and find the shark, even with his face completely red...entering the same cave the shark went into*

The cave isn't all that long, and without any side paths, it's easy for the flareon to find the shark again, sitting on the cave floor and holding his legs, facing away and nervously swishing his tail back and forth.

The shark swims quickly with the flareon, leaving the cave in seconds and shooting up toward the surface. He takes a breath and holds it just before he gets there, and he looks at the flareon with puffed cheeks after surfacing.

Feeling that he's able to transform again now, the shark looks around to make sure no one else will see, and shifts back to his lizard form, spitting out the water in him and breathing air again. "It does feel weird, not being able to breathe air, but I've gotten used to it."

"I think there's a couple options. I became like this when I cut myself on a shark tooth I found in the sand, and I kept it even before I found out, because it looked cool. We could use that, and I think biting you in my shark form might work too. Wouldn't do it hard, obviously, just enough to break the skin."
