the braixen in this art style really remind me to a fennekin (also fennekins are braixen/delphox babies as well)

Yeah it's the lack of the ear tufts and since he is other we cannot see the fur dress and the legs a lot. We can say he pressed b in the middle of the evolution or that they have been trimming his ear tufts so he li8ks more fennekin like
