Six adventurers, brought together by circumstance, travelling to save the world from a dark future. This is a commission I bought from the wonderful artist Mothbee, depicting the characters in my irl Dungeons and Dragons group.
From left to right, we have:
Cindy, Gnome Rogue- Daughter of a notorious art thief, she's been raised in the trade, and only when a job turned south did she seek out adventuring as an alternative route.
Ford, Human Cleric- Ford is all business, all the time. Working in the logistics wing of the Bureau, his ties to powerful magical artifact the Umbral Compass has finally brought him into the field with this ragtag bunch.
Kaia, Tiefling Paladin- Though she was raised in the upper class, she could never really get a hang for it. Her family was far too overbearing and dramatic, so she took to fighting in the ring instead. Eventually, through mostly pure luck, she found contact with Cindy and Arthur, and joined their cause.
Chevy, Human Cleric (NPC)- She's basically everything Ford is, except with a different set of chromosomes. He hates it, but is also kind of attracted to it. She works in another team with the Bureau, but finds a way to join the team when she can.
Arthur, Kobold Wizard- Arthur was locked away in his secret wizard tower for a long time, keeping safe from perceived danger. It's here he learned from the writings of the wizard who once lived here, figuring out the secrets of the arcane. After his tower was found out, he decided it was time to give the outside world a try, learn its secrets, and see if he can find the wizard who wrote the tomes he found there.
Toast, Kobold Ranger (NPC)- Arthur and Toast met in a mountain town and immediately hit it off, nerding out about history, ruins and sources of magic. They've been in close contact ever since, and have recently started dating.
