Nabe's tiggy friend, Ky, heard him murmuring in his sleep, something about just barely making it to the potty in time, but didn't think much of it...until he heard him let out a sigh of relief and started seeing a puddle form below him on his seat. They tried their best to wake him up, but it was too late. Even after Ky was able to wake him, he didn't even realize that he was still going.
Even though he and Ky were good friends and both knew they each had to wear protection, leaking like that in front of them was still super embarrassing for him. Once they got to school, Ky, being an awesome friend, helped lead the little crying otter pup by the hand to the nurse's office to be changed into a fresh and much thicker diaper and dry pair of pants.
