I originally envisioned the Simba Gets the Paper: Spaceship mini series taking place the time between Mufasa's death and meeting Timon and Pumbaa. Technically, it could've happened anytime. So I guess this is the ending if it took place before Mufasa's death/a timeline where Mufasa doesn't die.
All this to justify me choosing a screenshot that blatantly has Mufasa in it for this. Simba's pose and expression worked too well. :p
