Was in a bit of a slump the past few days and that ended up costing me yesterday’s daily u.u
But I think I’m feeling better today! I hope so ^^;
Anyway I tried yet another different way of drawing. I feel like I probably experiment around more than most and idk if it’s costing me in terms of consistency/actually cementing anything I learn >>; but this time what I did was draw the whole thing (more or less) repeatedly, just creating a new layer on top each time (and turning the opacity on the previous layer down low). It felt pretty good, cause I felt like I could focus on one or two things I wanted to adjust at a time without actually really thinking too hard on what those were or how to go about it, just laying down the lines and knowing if I fuck up in one spot I can always go right back over it the next time, without hardly ever hitting undo ^w^
Gonna admit I absolutely did not try at all on the clothing part tho lol, but I’ll figure it out eventually ^^; Posted just the final iteration and the very first one for now, since I’m running late again >>; (told ya I got into it heh). But I think when I get home it’d be cool to run a quick little animation to show the rest off, show like the progression/process from start to end uwu and post that as a third here c:
Speaking of, I feel like this route—while appearing somewhat wasteful I suppose ^^;—might at least help prepare me a bit more for animation and maybe even comics, perhaps? :3c And next time I might just try use animation frames instead of layers for each one >>; idk if it’d actually save space or anything but it might be better idk
And also it kinda just feels like turning drawing into a muscle exercise lol. Like yeah I just did 28 reps just now let’s gooo x3
