I'm working on a written story for a friend. And I can't explain too much without wrecking the story, but basically after all the presents were handed out, and since Alex doesn't really live there... she had gotten nothing while watching the twins open their gifts. Richard, the dad Lynx, had gotten her a surprise gift, which he hid behind the couch, and pulled it out at the very end. Maybe to humble a bratty little fox girl? Who knows, but she seems very grateful in this scene.
