Season of Penance Day 34

Set a fire down in my soul, that I can't contain that I can't control...

This piece is far more...conceptual and spiritual in nature. This entire art challenge of mine started as a sort of form of religious practice along with just a means of motivating myself to work on drawing more. To me, the entire act of creating is in itself a sacred thing and one that fills me with great passion just to think about. Some might consider this sentiment very overwrought but that's just my take on it. This image in particular is one that has been seared into my mind for quite some time but finally decided to act on it tonight. A few things could have been done better for sure but this one was more of a passion piece than careful study like some of the other recent ones.

As always please feel free to leave comments and critiques below, after all feedback is how I will improve my craft in the future.^^
