No TV, no video games, no cell phones. Books only if you can afford them and you can read. But you can sing and dance with your friends to pass all the time you want.
OK so... as a fan of pirates sea shanties and folk songs I really vibe with this.. I love it it's also a great VIBE here, it feels authentic in sucha wonderful way. I could even HERE the younger kid not wanting to seem like a baby loudly proclaiming he is not intimidated by dirty language, the dad more then willing to let boys be boys on a long journy..
the group all singing in unison XD really warmed my heart it felt just like a boyish, boudy, traveling tune should feel! XD
And then kevin popped his ehad out and scared to crap out of that poor fellow traveler XD he does get carried away hahaha
this may be one of my very favorite pages YET and absolutely worth the wait. as much as i freaking LOVE your art style your ability to tell a story with the subtle harmony of vibe and visual REALLY should not be understated.

That actually is pretty much how I see you too. I think you're ever bit the scamp that Slash and Burn are it's just that you've got a few years on them so you know when and how to let it go. Plus they have the fixation of being "HELPFUL BIG BROTHERS" to Sandy who's not really sure what's going on yet. It plays well with Toxy's being the glue and binding force of the family and Snowy the emotional fire that keeps him aware that he needs to keep his family protected, both his immediate Deadland family AND the very few humans included in that rare circle.

There once was a lass on a road legends told Her tiddies were out 'twas a sight to behold and she waved, and she sang, and she beckon'ed our gang two coppers a boy and your day won't get old
The boys were all for it, who was I to say nay to the lass who was bold and dressed like a fay so she climbed on our waggon and the boys started shaggin need no bed and no mattress in a wagon of hey
And the wagon starts shakin' and the wagon starts sway'n and the cross traffic's shouting, hey watch out your reigns and they yell a few curses, towards my poor horses as the waggon is now "not exactly in lane"
Then we're all off the path - but nobody minds as a sex crazy fay is playing all kinds of games with the boys as we all are her toys taking one to her face and two from behinds
And the horses go mad and the horses go crazy, while the fields we plow through get foggy and hazy then I fly with a plop, as the wheel hits a rock and I land in the mud and my brain's a bit dazy
When I come to myself, there's no waggon no more and no lass and no boys, and my head is all sore I'm a lone in a bog, its just me and a log and fay mists are swirling on faywater's shore
The next day I come to a village with ale and I order a lot, and I'm telling my tale How the fay stole my boys, to keep them as toys And everyone's jealous, cause, you know, they are honorable gentlemen, who certainly wouldn't wish to fuck fay lassies in the otherworld until the end of time, now would they?

DAMNIT I missed this one when it came out TOO!! Either I'm not paying attention as much as I should be *various reasons for that* OR IB is having problems again! Either way DAMNIT!
