It didn't end up as intended, but lessons were learned.

1. I should've pre-coated the musketeer. As you can see, bubbles escaped from crevices in the wood. The paint also didn't fair well and stained his face red.

2. I should've used a bigger globe mold since the refraction makes it difficult to read his speech bubble.
Though, that was my largest mold and it's the size of an apple.
