I was shocked as hell with the reception to my last Ai-referenced picture that I redid. So here's another one!

The TLDR: My wife finds Ai pictures on Twitter and sends me the ones she thinks I'll like. Recently, I've been trying my hand at using some of those and drawing over them to make them NOT Ai pictures. So reverse order, baby!

This time, did Eclipse in a very fancy wedding dress. She looks amazing in it, but she looks great in anything >:3

As with the last one, I don't know any of the sources for the reference picture. I just know it's Ai and that sorta leaves it open to be messed with. Otherwise, I'd add tags and keywords or at least the program used for it. But, since I didn't make the source reference, it's a mystery!

It was a lot of f@#$ing effort to redo that background with the windows. UGH lol

And thus we come full circle.

Taking AI images and basing real, and vastly superior, art on them is a neat idea, and this turned out gorgeous! Eclipse does look fantastic in that dress, and I love how you've taken everything, the colors, the lighting, the details, and made them all softer and warmer and more appealing. The stained glass windows are beautifully done, as are the petals floating down around her, and the roses at her hips are so very pretty. As are those billowy skirts. She is a beautiful girl, and your version of this picture knocked it out of the park!

It's been really fun taking these Ai images and turning them into actual art. It also helps out that Ai art can't actually be (C) and claimed at its base form. Sooooo, kinda free pickings when it comes to them lol

I feel it has some okay uses, which include pose references, enhancing one's OWN works (helping clean lines, shading, etc)

Amazing work, as usual. I actually would prefer your version. Somehow, you use thicker lines in a way that I just can't help but appreciate. She's looking quite ready to marry...

I really enjoy doing the thicker lines. Something about it helps make my coloring pop it seems. I was doing a lot of experimenting in the past year or two in finding what I like best!
