Vanreshiel had a bit of a rough upbringing, having grown an Orphan on the street. Running through alleys and digging in dumbsters. He was mostly solitary. he was fairly Cynical having known nothing but distrust and suspicion until he was Picked-upped by a quirky old man that would become his teacher.

He grew and learned a trade under his tutelage becoming an experienced chef of many unique and vivid flavors. He was glad his master took him in and revered him as a teacher as much as a father figure.
but time waits for no one and eventually his masters life was cut short. Leaving the young Coyote to his own.

He bounced from job to job at various Kitchens, using the skills he was taught to earn money, enough to afford a nice apartment overlooking town but his Cynicism slowly grew back without his Master around to guide him as Van roamed on his own through town, being tossed from one place to the next as his attitude put him at odds with most authority and management.

Having practically worked at almost every kitchen as he begins to look at his dwindling savings, cursing the life he's been left with, waiting for time to wither away the world that took his Master from him.

I can completely relate to his struggle, especially jumping from one kitchen gig to another... I can relate SO HARD!!! Such a stunning back-story you've established, I'm perfectly intrigued! :D

ya. things tend to compound when you get put into a not great mental state. one of the reason its often so hard to pull yourself out of it.
