i was considering giving him some (rapidly healing) bruises or perhaps cuts, but i didn't think that looked really good so i just removed them entirely

sypher has....
something that i've been calling "emotional regeneration" it's not exactly forgetting/amnesia, rather, he doesn't retain trauma. he'll know that bad things have happened, and that she did something really mean, but won't be able to understand just how bad it was and how much it hurt x3

yeah, I'm planning a sort of slow burn Stockholm Syndromey romance between me and a icky awful (dreamy 🥺) serial killer.. it'll start out as a fluff series and then awful things will happen to poor little mousie! I'm very excited. it will be equally as much a very deeply personal exploration of some of my real traumas and such, even the test drafts I've written have been very cathartic to work on.

I'll check out some of your stories today! will be good research on how to write rape scenes. mm.. yes, research. and nothing else >.>;

oh that sounds really really fun
a lot of us get into cub stuff as a way to process trauma (or in my case, to explore the conflict between my self-destructiveness and my inner child)
