It was just lying there on the ground just off to the side of a sidewalk, laying next to a brick building. It looked like a plastic toy wand, sunlight reflecting off its surface, only adding to the illusion of being made of plastic. Who left it there? Why'd they leave it there? Did some little girl lose her toy wand? Who's to say? All that's for certain is that it was there, waiting for some unwitting fur to reach down and pick it up. It wouldn't have to wait long however, as an otter with too much curiosity of the world around him would soon see it.
Joey and Katie were walking through the city, holding each other's hands as they were enjoying a day out together.
"And so I told her, there's no way your fluffy yellow butt is potty trained, you are always wearing those big fat baby fops diapers," katie spoke, telling her boyfriend about one of her sisters. "And can you believe it? she had the gall to call my undies big baby huggies! They don't look like huggies do they?" she asked her boyfriend before noticing he was staring at the ground "hey! Are you even listening?"
"Huh?" Joey asked turning his attention back to Katie "yeah, I am, and no they don't look like huggies" Joey answered
"THANK YOU!" Katie exclaimed in relief
"They look like pampers" Joey replied sticking out his tongue
"HEY!" Katie blurted out stomping her feet in disapproval
Joey turned his attention back to the ground before looking back at the ground. Katie raised an eyebrow at him as she noticed his attention drifting away again.
"Okay i'll bite, what is so fascinating about the sidewalk?" She asked
"It looks like there is a toy wand on the ground" Joey answered pointing at the object laying on ground
Katie looked at it curiously, "huh wonder what it's doing there, but so what? Is it really that interesting? I mean you have a magic sword" Katie replied
"Well yeah, but i mean, I guess i just don't like seeing a perfectly good toy just carelessly discarded like that, I'm certain someone would love to play with it" Joey answered
"Hon, it's been sitting there for who knows how long, It's probably gone all brittle after baking in the heat" Katie commented looking at it more
"Well if it is we can toss it in the trash, but if it's still good i can clean it up and take it to a donation bin to drop it in there so it can go to some fur who would want to play with it" Joey suggested
"Fair enough I suppose, but should you really just go picking things up off the street?" Katie asked
"Oh come on, what's the worst that could happen?" Joey asked bending down
"Remember that voodoo doll of yourself you made?" Katie asked
Joey just blushed deeply under his fur as he shut his eyes, "Did you really hafta bring that up?" Joey asked hoping he could forget that fiasco
"Yes i did, we live in a world where magic is a thing, and wands are supposed to be magical" Katie replied
"It's a toy! What kinda toy maker is gonna enchant a toy wand? That seems like it would be bad for business" Joey commented as he reached for the wand
"Someone else could have enchanted it" Katie answered
"Well now you're just being silly, why would anyone enchant a toy?" Joey asked grabbing the wand and picking it up
Standing up, Joey began to examine the wand, turning it over in his hand. It looked like plastic when it was on the ground, but now that he was seeing it up close it was made of a very sturdy material but he couldn't really put his finger on what exactly. The wand had a red handle with yellow tip and a pink heart on one end with small pink wings.
"Seems fine to me" Joey commented before the wand began to glow brightly
Soon joey was engulfed in a pink light as his clothes wherestripped away and were reshaped, his pants and shirt were reformed into a cute purple dress that was now adorned around him, with a yellowish pink ribbon tied around his waist into a cute bow on his back.. his boxers reformed into a thick pink diaper that was taped snuggly around his waist. his sock grew longer into knee high stockings, and his shoes had now become a pair of heels. A pair of elbow length gloves slipped themselves onto both of Joey's arms and a big pink bow was now secured to the back of his head.
Once the glow subsided, joey was left standing there in the middle of the sidewalk with one leg up in the air as far as his leg could go and his right arm holding the wand out, pointing it into the air. As the realization of what he was wearing in public was setting in, he began to blush more brightly.
"Eh?" Joey asked as his brain was trying to process what had just happened while still holding his pose, EH!?"
"Huh....... i read about this in some of moms old books, but i never thought i would see it in person" Kati commented as she was studying the otter and his wand
"EHHH!?" Joey asked in exclamation once more, as he was wanting answers already
"Apparently that was a magical girl wand. It turns the wielder into a powerful magical girl. I thought these wands were all lost or retired. The maidens kinda made them a bit irrelevant once they really took off" Katie asked
Joey began to shake the wand in rapid succession towards the ground.
"Are you trying to cast magic or something? You really should stop if you don't know what you are doing. You're going to put someone's eye out if you keep doing that" Katie commented watching the otter shake the wand
"NO! I'm trying to throw it on the ground to change back, but it won't leave my hand! I can't let go of it" Joey huffed as he stopped swinging it around. He tried to use his other hand to pry it free but instead he found he could swap which hand he was holding it with just fine, but he couldn't actually drop it. With a grumble he decided to try and just take the clothes off, trying to remove the heels first. lifting his leg up he reached around with his free hand to pull the shoe off but it wouldn't budge. "These clothes won't off!" Joey exclaimed
"Well I mean for starters, they aren't supposed to. They wouldn't be a good outfit for magical girls of they came off easily" she explained "secondly, save the stripping for the bedroom nout out here in the middle of the city you naughty girl"
"But I can't go walking around looking like this!" Joey protested
"Hey I tried to warn you against picking up stuff off the ground but did you listen? Noooooooooo, i was being silly, so I think this is fitting punishment for calling your girlfriend silly and for calling my undies pampers, just look at how big your huggies are" She replied patting the back of his diaper
Joey just let out an eep and he tried to hide his face "Can we at least go and get this reversed back at the castle?" joey asked with a whine
"We can and will, but first you gotta make it up to me with a movie" Katie replied
But" joey tried to protest
"No buts! Now lets go" She took his hand and began to lead him towards the nearest movie theater
"Ack! How can women walk in these?" Joey asked he tried to walk along with his new heels
"Why do you think I never wear 'em? I prefer my clothes to be functional" Katie replied "But i think you pull them off quite well, though better hope riola or sapphire doesn't see you dressed like that, they won't ever let you change back with how pretty you look"
Joey just lifted the hem of his skirt to hide his face
"Hey! none of that now! Proper ladies don't flash their undies like that! Now come on, I still have to finish my story about that bratty yellow baby!" Katie replied
