Oh boy! This is loaded as hell and I wish you the best of luck!
But it's not just girls. I find people in general homogenize too much. Grew up in the 90's as a nerd, it was the special not-popular thing (not that that's why I was a nerd). Now being a nerd is mainstream. It's great that it became socially acceptable to be an adult and read comics or watch cartoons, but it's become too much. Everything is nerd culture now, and it's not... special anymore.

The problem is that people want to be both the special snowflake, but also don't want to stray so far from the group that they are ostracized as the not-we. So they play both angles while making them the same thing. It's human nature, unfortunately. Standing out makes you different, and different is seen as bad among the group.

The internet is the problem here. The best and worst invention of the last 50 years. Instant global communication... and instant mockery for anything and everything, and the anonymity to do it without fear of reprisal for your own difference. And God forbid you don't agree with 'popular thing.'

I had a longer reply typed out, but it basically boiled down to a lot of words to say: Every generation is fucked up in its own unique way. Taken as a whole, people - men and women both - tend to be kind of bland and ordinary, and possessed of a lot of flaws, great and small. It's hard and often frustrating to find people who you really click with, and that's why holding on to the ones who do is so important. I'm sorry things didn't work out with the one woman in particular, and I'm sorry you're having a tough time with the dating thing as a whole. But I'm sure you'll find someone who you click with in time, and she'll steal you away from us for good.

In the meantime, I'm happy to have found you, too, and you know I'm pulling for ya!

(And I do like the art style for FAQs or other, similar commentaries/thoughts/what-have-you. It's cute, and a little added visual appeal to what would otherwise be another journal entry makes it fun, I think.)

Mentally ill people excluded from Society a natural way of selection ?
Do you really think saying stuff like this is ok ?
Do you believe in that?
That we should shut away people with mental illnesses put them away from society instead of trying to understand the problems and help them, ?
Do you even know how hurting this is for people with such problems?
Nobody wants to have problems but hell are you going to far saying shit like this no matter how frustrated you are.

I never claimed that we should do that. I just said that we humans used to do that for thousands of years and that it's simply not in our bias to feel attracted to such people. But it's simply the truth that we humans feel uncomftable near such people. We might call us "modern humans" because we have technology, but we are only a few thousand years away from "wild living" humans. In biology terms that is nothing.

Honestly, I also have some mental issues in that regard. I forget things way faster than usual and I also have certain problems I don't want to mention. But I also don't cry about it at every possible situation, because I want to be accepted. Something many women these days do the opposide way! And I am so annoyed of this topic, that I don't want to pretend to feel comftable around such people.

I can see where youre coming from its just the wording that highly disturbed me.
Also i would absolutely disagree with humans feeling uncomfortable with this there are lots of mental problems where the opposite is true.
I agree that lots of people nowadays carry their psychiological problems in front of them like a badge instead of seeing a problem that might need help but it also doesnt help to generalize even tho that a very human thing to do since our brains kinda work like that a lot.
All in all i can empathize with what you wanna say here i just disagree with the way youre doing it cause it might hurt people who doesnt deserve it.

ps: its quite hard wording this in a second language so i hope i dont come off wrong or confrontational its just a difference in opinion and how it should or should not be worded i mean no offense at all.

I don't think it's possible for people to be exciting all the time, it's exhausting. I do enjoy those little moments of niche couple things you start to equate doing with each other in a relationship. For example grocery shopping is just as fun as an amusement park, or hiking adventure with someone you like. If the little moments aren't fun then it's difficult for anything to be fun. As far as mental illness, I see where your coming from, but most of that has to do with people being slammed with false bits of self diagnosis information on a grandiose scale and also the fact that we didn't in earlier generations have access to actual medical information for these conditions. So it's not that there is per-say more, it's that we have medical terms for these conditions now and that people (especially women who habe had a helluva run with anything medical or educational in history) have some access to assistance for these kinds issues. So not so much quantity as it is availability.
Out of the men and women I've had the pleasure of knowing and dating, ngl some people are just terrible, and a few that fit there crazy little world in the missing pieces of yours are pretty neat when you find them.
