Character Sheet for Amber Drop
Character Description
Amber drop is a young unicorn mare who struggles to build her life after leaving her less-then-loving family home to live on her own. Her pony special talent is discovering true intentions, feelings and lies of others. Due to her somewhat unique talent which she is still learning to control she has a some trust issues and prefers to be alone, despite her curious and open nature. She describes herself as a broken pony. Her personality was largely shaped by loneliness and stigma of the weird kid in a boarding school for gifted unicors, which she attended not because of her gits, but because her parents payed enough to get her there. Being a daughter of two earth ponies she doesn't possess much of a magic talent, but she made up for that in determination and stubbornness. As she graduated, she left the walls of her old school with a lot of academic knowledge, no real life experiences to speak off and burning hatred towards most of the ponies he spent almost all her life with. She rebelled against her despotic mother, left her family home in Manehattan and moved to the quiet town of Ponyfille where her distant family lives. There she opened a tiny enchantment workshop and found a part-time bob at a local book store.
Personality
Cold and distant on the first glance, awkward, and distrusting. Often cynical and with a dry sarcastic sense of humor.
Doesn't like attention, distrust any physical contact, especially with strangers.
Usually collected and calm, but she's also prone to rash decisions and panic if confronted with stressful or usual situation.
Only after getting to know someone she feels comfortable to let go of some of her barriers.
She cares for those few she allowed herself to trust, but she harbors great fear of getting too close to someone and is afraid of serious emotional attachments. In other words, she's a great friend, but a terrible romantic partner.

quiet, privacy, books (especially adventure stories), enchanting, pancakes, daydreaming, sleeping till noon and cider
dislikes:
loud, obnoxious ponies, lies, being hit on by other ponies, relationships, comments about her looks, hangovers, getting up early and her mother.

Pretty much covered already, but here's a quick recap:
Amber was born on 17th of July in Manehattan to a family of rich merchants.
Attended the Academy for gifted unicorns in Manehattan for most of her life.
She was picked on, bullied and laughed at for most of the time because she wasn't good with magic, her tail looks silly, her cutie mark was a boring broken mask and she acted weird overall.
During the summer when Princess Luna returned she went on a small adventure in forests near Vanhoover.
After graduation her mother wanted to arrange a wedding with some rich and influential noble from Canterlot, so Amber took her things and moved to Ponyville.

Body
Tall unicorn mare with yellow coat and red mane and tail. Amber has intensive green eyes that sometimes cause her trouble because they appear to glow sometimes, especially when she's looking directly at someone and that confuses ponies and makes them think she's a changeling.
She's tall and pretty strongly built compared to other, more delicate unicorns. She has a pretty rare, long tail, uncommon nowadays among ponies,it used to be pretty common in pre-Equestria times. Her Cutie mark is a broken theatrical mask. She has a small scar behind her right ear, usually covered with her mane.
