It's been a rough ... year, I guess? I lost my mom a couple of weeks ago. The celebrations of life stuff was last week.And there's just been one thing or another since then. Not all bad, granted. But it's been a lot.
I'm honestly not the best at doing vent art. I get caught up in the technicals that I don't really get the emotions down. But this image was floating in my head enough that I was finally able to get it down on paper.
Not sure if I will finish it or keep it as a sketch. The figure in the head is a bit of a mess, but I feel like inking and coloring would lose the emotional aspect of it.
That said ... for someone who doesn't draw humans much, that (main) human head is pretty nice looking yo. I mean, just look at that nose.
But yeah, it's been a lot. I'm actually doing fairly okay at the moment, all things considered. That's why I'm able to upload this. Normal uploads will most likely resume on Saturday. But wanted to post this while it was time relevant.
