Character Sheet for Greed
Character Description
As her name suggests, Greed embodies the sin she is named after, wanting to hoard trinkets, treasures, and basically everything, and not liking to share, a firm believer in the philosophy of “What’s mine is mine, what’s yours is mine.” She might have gone on to become a thief were it not for her half-brother Virtue, who taught her to hoard without stealing. She holds the power to heal herself through physical contact with precious metals and precious gemstones, which is why she always carries a pack of some of her treasure when out on quests the Wings of Sin have taken from clients so she can heal herself.
Personality
Greedy, somewhat selfish, a bit insane
Likes/Dislikes
Likes: Her siblings, precious metals, precious gemstones, anything valuable, getting paid after quests, her hoard
Dislikes: Being stolen from, losing anything from her hoard, gemstones and metal that aren’t precious, failing a quest (because it would mean that none of the Wings, mainly her, would get paid)
Background/History
19 years ago, a dragoness named Stella ran into an entity of pure sin that cornered her and cast a curse on her to impregnate her with the eggs of 7 dragon hatchlings that each embodied one of the seven deadly sins so that they could use their powers of sin to ruin the world, and the entity knew that Stella's incredibly intense maternal instinct would prevent her from getting rid of her tainted hatchlings, even going as far as to mock her for it with extreme prejudice and disrespect. Once the the curse was done, the entity departed, and the eggs began to gestate, Stella began to cry. She didn't want to be mother to a clutch of literal doombringers! But she didn't want to deny them life either. Thankfully, another entity arrived on the scene, this one being a truly virtuous force. The entity granted her a means to keep the hatchlings in the world whilst keeping them from becoming complete monsters. They could not be completely cleansed, but would be anti-heroes instead of villains. The entity cast a blessing on Stella, impregnating her with the egg of a hatchling who embodied virtue itself. The virtuous hatchling would teach the sinful hatchlings to use their abilities for the greater good rather than spreading corruption as the evil entity had intended. The holy entity wrapped Stella in a warm hug as it said "Good luck, my child. I know you'll raise them well." before departing. She soon laid the eggs and the curse christened the sinful eggs with names that were the name of each one's respective sin (Greed, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth, Envy, Wrath, and Pride), while the blessing christened the 8th egg as Virtue. Eventually, her hatchlings would leave the nest to do work as mercenaries.
