Mau is a beautiful Pal who looks like a black cat with gold embellishments. It has an overall mild temperament and makes for a very cute pet. Unfortunately, Maus are often hunted and poached for their tails, which never deteriorate even after the Mau dies and are considered a good-luck charm akin to a rabbits foot. The cryst variant does the opposite, with their tail shattering after they die and are kept as pets, since raising one is considered a sign of good luck. When assigned to a ranch, both variants will occasionally dig up gold coins.
