So I'm happy with drawing the last few days ..

People have been welcoming and supportive.. and I am glad for that.

I have forgotten alot since I stopped drawing.. epically the way I used to do eyes .. and that's frustrating.

There has always been a Squeak, born a roleplay from furcadia  and later made by a friend in sonic form... I have never felt a strong bond with the design..

I love ferrets.. but something needs to change. I have never been too good at designing new characters...

So how do you go about it? To all these people who knock out ocs... how do you stay fresh? Or is it a case of just keep going till you find something that works?

Anyway you can see what 20+ odd years of fantom.and occasionally drawing can do..

Stay awesome..

It does take a decent amount of drawing and writing characters to really have something that sticks at times, and a lot of the time, they won't stick, have a bad design among other things, but the thing is to allow to experiment through those mistakes and bad ideas, since I do feel it's more of a stepping stone to a good idea.

--The way I go about it personally is I think of the story, situation or world first, then I make the characters that would fit that situation, sometimes characters can be based on my own desires, fears or just anything I've experienced in life. I find that when I make characters in a void without any other context, it can be difficult for me, but I know some artists love doing it that way, so it can depend on what method works best for you.
