Another experimental sketch-stylistically, I'm happy with how this turned out. I've been trying to mesh more of the 2012 style while still keeping a cutesy anime touch to it-I think I might have found it :) now all I have to do is keep practicing this one. Sorry for the bunch of sketches, guys;; hopefully I'll have some real artwork up soon.

well i am totally jealous of his hands and eyes <3 love this style its just the right amount of cute and cool draw Raphael next for me? i will have a scanner tomorrow so i can draw something for you if you want :]

aww, thanks ;u; I'm really happy that's he's not too cute but not too masculine either-this was that balance that I wanted, so I'm really glad you think so.
Oh, you don't need to draw me anything! I want to draw Raphael next anyway~I love how stocky he is XD I'm hoping I can get it right.

It's funny, so much of what goes into a character can be foretold in their body language. Donnie is always looking a bit lanky and awkward, feeling as if he's always a step away from being off-balance despite being a ninja, and you captured that perfectly here; the unsure stance, the way he handles his weapon, the 'gee whiz' sort of look on his face, all of it. I'm going to guess that this is digital artwork posing as a more natural medium, but I really like the effect. Very nice work.

This is exactly the way I see him to be honest. And it's just so adorable, gah. All of this qualities are just even more emphasized by his lanky figure and gap tooth, idk everything about him screams as the dorky nerd with possibly more unsureness than the other three~blakbhcfbhrg I just want to cuddle him, seriously.
