Fidget the Nimbat is the main protagonist that accompanies Dust in Dust: An Elysian Tail. She is the guardian of the sword Ahrah. Fidget is very much the opposite to Ahrah in terms of personality. She often has a very playful, lighthearted view on things, and in some cases could be seen as mischievous. Fidget is the comic relief to many of the darker and more serious elements of the story and uses metafiction to break the fourth wall which is mostly seen when she references the fact that she and the others around her are video-game characters, or makes reference to other games.
She is quick to make herself sound more powerful than she really is to try and impress Dust, especially shortly after she first meets him in The Glade. For example, in Aurora Village she claims that she's landed lots of 1000 hit combos before.
