According to the model of the Triune Brain the reptilian complex are in charge of our primal instincts, the limbic system is in charge of our emotions and the neocortex is responsible for objective or rational thoughts.

Even though the theory of the triune brain is anti-scientific, I find it funny. I wanted to create characters who could embody primitive physical strength, cold pragmatic calculation and a light emotional nature.
