I think she may have just died inside. He took her from her family, raped her, subjected her to humiliations, and there is nothing she or her parents can do to stop it. That kind of looks like the dead-eyed thousand yard stare in the last panel. Honestly at this point her only way out is to kill him in his sleep and try to get a plea of temporary insanity as a result of massive emotional trauma.
