I wrote a journal today for more explanation, but I'll summarize it here. Basically I just want to start drawing everyday. And posting, especially. I have a really bad habit of focusing too much on what I want to draw, how I want it to look like, basically all these ideas of what's supposed to be waiting for me at the end "once I art hard enough." What I don't have is any good habit of actually doing art regularly, consistently. So I'm jumping off into the deep end--on the opposite side of the pool.

I'm gonna draw what feels good, and try and be as totally quick and spontaneous as possible, and just get used to the fact that a lot of this stuff is gonna look ugly, or stupid, or pointless lmao. And I'm gonna post this stuff. At least to my scraps gallery if nowhere else. Posting has (at least with systems like Inkbunny's especially) had its own sorta intimidating factor for me. So hopefully just posting over and over should get me over that fear soon enough c:

I haven't drawn on this device in a while. It's an all-in-one tablet with pen support, and the nib is way more slippery than what I'm used to. But instead of complaining about how it just doesn't feel like it's "supposed to" I'm gonna learn it for what it is c: So it looks shaky (and pretty bad, tbh) toward the top of the page, but I think it starts to get better toward the bottom. I tried to totally avoid using Undo, up until the very last sketch at least, where I had a clearer idea of what I wanted to do/study/practice (more detailed maw stuff, basically).

Dunno if this is all I'm doing today, but definitely happy to get a good start here and have done something, at least c:
