This was a silly idea I had. I don't know how many I'll do but I kind of like the idea? I used https://pokecardmaker.net for the card text/border and Krita for the art.
I don't keep up with the Pokemon card game, so I don't know if these are balanced or even if the rules make sense. My thought was you can play a Doomed Pokemon as a normal Pokemon. They don't have any attacks. If you play a Swallow Pokemon you can attach the Doomed Pokemon to the Swallow Pokemon and use it as a kind of health potion. There's an advantage to caring about weaknesses because the Doomed Pokemon will digest twice as fast inside of Pokemon that it's weak to. It's still a Pokemon so you can still attach energy cards to it or use Potions, and if it faints your opponent still gets a prize. :3
But if your Swallow Pokemon faints, you can either leave the Doomed Pokemon in play, or you can search your library for a different basic card with the same name and swap them, preserving any energy and damage tokens. So you can use the Doomed Pokemon as a potion while attaching energy, and if your Swallow Pokemon faints you can switch it for a version of the Doomed Pokemon that's capable of attacking.
Or you can just leave it in play and attach it to another Swallow Pokemon to continue digesting X3
