Living suits are co-dependent on living things to live, not necessarily parasitic more like symbiotic. However,Ralph doesnt care for the living, as he burns through bodies pretty quickly without caring if he kills his host. Because of this he tends to have alot of bodies, both human and non-human, on standby.He even goes as far as to kill his own kind.
His power over shadows allows him to move withing them, and even attack said shadows to do damage to a person.
