Pretty o.o And normally I would be the last person to suggest it but... would dark lips contribute to the gyaru look? Contrast and all that. Or perhaps a darker nose?
Either way!

Might be that calling attention to the lip is more important than being technically accurate. Not that I am not satisfied with the character design. It's mostly coincidental that she gives off gyaru vibes.
Contrast is always good. Gyaru is mostly bright lipstick though: https://tinypic.host/image/WahY2 M
Huge fan of the gyaru look and I too ran into the same issue of making it work in "furry". I think you pulled it off really well though. Gotta agree with the above commenter about dark lips and probably some eye shadow. A raccoon would probably be perfect, now that I think about it, though I've always pretty liberal when it comes to makeup on anthros even if it doesn't make the most amount of sense. At least on the fluffy ones. Scalies are perfect for the body arts.
Also, if you're curious how I solved the issue, I just made up a human version of my sona, lol.

It's not as much as an "issue" as much as it's just a fun mental exercise to make animal equivalents of humans. However annoying IB's rule of "no humans" is, it at least makes us put our creativity to use. I don't see why it wouldn't "make sense" to put makeup on the animals. The obvious next step in making the golden cat here look more gyaru is obviously to ckae her in make-up, whether it be dark or bright.

Well, I mean, makeup generally goes on skin, not hairy areas. Lashes not withstanding. I just don't see blush doing a whole lot on a furry face. It wasn't meant to be applied to hair.

No, blush makes less sense, but eye shadow, eye-liner, and lipstick work fine in my mind. It's also not hard to imagine the equivalent to "foundation", evening out the color of fur.

Hmm, I suppose you're right. I guess part of this goes back to my other comment about liking the more animal-ly anthro as well. Like, I think part of me is looking at fido and trying to imagine makeup there and it's just not jiving.

Oh yeah, in the efforts to make the animals "look good", makeup risks deepening the uncanny valley, instead of bridging the gap. Part of it is that plenty animals already have "natural" makeup, in the form of eye-liner. And fur already breaks up wrinkles, which is one of makeup's purposes.
