It starts simply enough. A little snack. The smallest doughnut. Not too much more effort than eating a doughnut hole. It should be fine, they tend to be moist. One bite in, it proves to be more formidable. It feels like it is the size of a beach ball. At least it is soft and pillowy. The teeth don’t really cut through it, it seems to compress, and when another bite is taken, it barely lets go, like dough being separated before the glutens have formed. As dry as it is, it is a sloppy mess. The texture of flour is present, though mixed with egg, butter, and milk.
