There is only one possible way in a game of chess that a king can end up in a double-check like that, and that is someone did an illegal move.
Either the king was moved earlier unto the field it is now, while the horse was already in place - moving into check is suicide and not valid.
Or the horse was placed there with the king already in place, thats a "check" and can only be acted upon by removing the king - or the horse. Any other move (by white) would have been invalid. Yet necessary to allow the queen to move.
Or the horse and the queen had been moved effectively in the same turn without giving poor Bambi even the glimpse of a chance, which is what I would expect as most likely. Death cheats!
