Lyrus had experienced many things while he journeyed around the continent to find the missing artifact. But, up until this point, a public hanging had somehow escaped him. He watched in shock and disgust as the first victim fell from the gallows. The moose standing beside him at the back of the crowd noticed his expression change, and reached a hand out to comfort him.
