In one of the episodes of Courage the Cowardly Dog Eustace heard of his brother passing away and he left behind treasure. Eustace, as corrupt and selfish as he is, "hired" Shirley to come over to his house to perform a communication method that allows him to talk to his dead brother. I've been wanting to draw this specific scene for years now, but my drawing skills waaaaay back then sucked. Many years later I finally did it. In this actual scene Shirley opens her mouth wide, tilts her head back slightly and just shuts down with her eyes being left blank to allow the one she's contacting to take over temporarily by having them speak from inside her mouth without her actually moving her mouth, kinda like telepathy. thought this was the weirdest and cutest scene to see this little green gypsy dog do this so I planned to draw it one day. What made the scene funnier was while her body was comatose static phone noises were coming out of her mouth.
I decided to go further like I usually do and get creative. Eustace somehow....wait for it............................shrunk down to size and angrily hopped inside of her mouth to demand from his brother where the treasure was. This woke Shirley up from her trance and she angrily threatened to swallow him whole if he doesn't get out of her mouth.
