After the vessel has made his way through the entire kingdom's remnants he encounters Hornet where she forces him into one last battle against her before the final fight of the game. In the fight she's much more difficult to defeat with a new set of abilities because her "SHAWS" will make short work of you if you're not ready.
In this interpretation his long-legged sibling Hornet is already sitting and waiting for the Knight to arrive, but the problem is he ended up somehow shrinking again right before he saw her. This time he can't sneak past her since she has magical barriers up and doors locked to prevent him from sneaking by. So he decided to climb up between her legs and try to challenge her which he quickly realized that it was a very foolish mistake at his size. She spotted him, baffled by how he's still small and immediately traps him between her legs, capturing him to do who knows what to him next. He'll either wake back up at the nearest bench or be taken away by her.
