T'is the start of my favorite time of year! A cool breeze wrenches the last of the leaves from the trees, spiraling down with the first few lazy flakes of snow. You might be out for a walk in the woods , only the sound of your boots crunching the snow to break the silence of the forest as it prepares for slumbering, the scent of wood fires in the air. You come inside and wipe the flakes from your shoulders, stomp the snow from your treads, as the warm air hits you. The smell of a Christmas tree, and nutmeg spiced cider, and rich coffee, the sound of a crackling fireplace, and carols that haven't changed since your childhood playing on the stereo. A fluffy fennec prince has made a cozy little nest in the presents under the tree. He too is festively wrapped, as if he is one of the presents....
