Whew, this one took me some time!... and several layers..

Something I mentioned wanting to focus on for the coming year was worldbuilding, which tangentially relates to the interactions and relationships between characters. (comics, too, of course! still working on all that)

Alma and Swinteron become fast friends after the latter contracts the former for a fairly simple quest.

I have more to write but my brain isn't working right now, lol. Oh well.

Part of improving as an artist has been learning when to just stop working on a piece and call it finished, even if it's far from perfect. This painting is a pretty good example of that concept, I feel.

This is so excellent! Love the mystical air of it, along with the coziness of the cushions and steaming tea and candles! Swin and Alma look beautiful together, the whole ambiance of this piece is just outstanding!
