Realizing every day how well the AI is developing scares and disappoints me at the same time. This literally artificial intelligence devalues and belittles artists and let's be honest, it doesn't go unnoticed!
Artists, designers, 3D-artists and photographers spent many years making art and developing in this direction, all for the sake of the fact that we were simply replaced by artificial intelligence. Many years of effort and all this can be replaced with two mouse clicks. Artificial intelligence not only neglects artists, but also simply takes us out of the market. I'm afraid that in the next five years no one will even ask artists to draw a beautiful picture or make a hand-made design, just because with AI you can do it in a measly 1-2 clicks and for free!!
And it’s not just that artists will soon not be able to earn money, but the simple fact is that our motivation to draw and create graphic images begins to disappear: AI directly begins to do the work for us. You know, I could come to terms with the fact that I couldn’t become a famous artist or at least more recognizable, but now hope is starting to dry up and our skills seem to even begin to lose their meaning....
I think it's unfair and in some ways desecrating, but I'm not telling everyone who uses AI to stop using it, I'm just saying (or asking) that humanity shouldn't forget, but continue to appreciate the personal work of artists. After all, how many years have passed, how many centuries art has developed, and it’s just a shame that such a wonderful industry, naturally created by man, begins to sharply fade and depreciate. Honestly, that's pretty sad.
You have the right to scold me, I will understand. Maybe these outrages are unnecessary, because even I blocked tags related to AI images a long time ago, but still... I just wanted to speak out and urge people to understand how painful this is for us, artists.๐๐

I agree and support. If you ask me we must make AI generation outlawed and punishable by law. Only this way we can save mankind, I am not exaggerating.

I hope ai images get banned someday, I really do. As a professional artist this pisses me off. Taken me YEARS of practice and hands-on experience to get where I am now. I don't block the tags. I want to know which losers are using it so I can block them and the trash they post. Just talentless chumps getting unearned attention and support. Reminds me of the "participation trophies" they give to losers. Those using ai are talentless, broke losers that are too poor to pay a real artist and too useless to draw themselves. Trash!

In my opinion if anyone is gonna make ai art they need to give credit were credit is due. To the artists in wich they use there images and art pieces as reference.i don't mind ai art itself. What I don't like is these people thinking there artists cuz they used someone else's image. Now if they used somthing they made and used ai to tweak it I can respect that but everyone out there using other artists work to make ai images need to have respect for the artists.

I feel like ai is fine but people abuse it ๐ช its sad when I see a image that looks like a familiar artist to find out it was ai generated ๐ you can tell what artist they used most the time too wich is a dead giveaway they it's not original... people who use ai should only use there own art for such... make it original by us8ng your own work. don't rip it off from hard working talented artists

Why does everybody try to profit off another man's work, then destroyin' it just for monetary gain? This somthing dax said in a song. And it's very true in this world and it's sad..

I view AI the same way that business men in the 1600s saw slavery. If there is a time/money saving tool out their, people are going to abuse it to a devastating extreme, no matter how much it harms others.

I think there is some use in AI art for the non art talented as myself. For example, if I want to try to visualise my character for a commission, ai helps me do that so I can get that image to an artist as a concept of what my character looks like so we can finalize it and I can commission them for real art.
I have tried this in the past, but the artist wouldn't take my commission because I used AI to visualise the concept, which cost them money because I was fully was willing and able to pay for the Art I ACTUALLY wanted.
That makes no bloody sense.
If I may: I think there is some use in AI art for the non art talented as myself. For example, if
And this is the thing I want to address. I will be using AI to do my works now. Im done spending 40+ hours to make a single image that no one paid for. If time is money, then I'm wasting a lot of money just drawing for free. I can still make my images and spend the time I save to do something else. The issue is these artist who think they are hot shit complaining because they are losing money from gay furries. These people only care about themselves. You do what makes you happy.
And this is the thing I want to address. I will be using AI to do my works now. Im done spending 40+
I'm sure everyone will flame me but hey, it's like 13 degrees out, so flame away furries. Can AI generators operate without sampling human made art? No, they can't. Do said generators ask permission to sample said human art? No, they don't. Do ANY human artists get compensated for having their art sampled? No, they don't. DO THE DESIGNERS OF THESE AI PROGRAMS ASK MY PERMISSION WHEN THEY CREATE PROGRAMS TO OPERATE THIS WAY? No, they don't.
AND there are already lawsuits flying over this technology that, sadly, had so much positive potential. Potential that's being pissed right down society's leg as this whole thing turns into a flame war. All because elitist tech bros gave no fucks if their designs were unethical and predatory. They just release what ever they want on society and if it goes batshit and hurts people and end friendships, they just laugh and bask in the drama. It's not like THEY stand to loose anything. Their money and connections make them untouchable.
Someone on this site, I used to be friends with. Loved their art. DEFENDED THEM PUBLICLY when witch hunters unfairly called them a zoophile puppy raper. Now I can't even comment on their works, because they blocked me. Why? Because I finally stopped caring about AI and just wanted to make a little content that actually got hits. Content btw, that was in short supply on this site at the time. Content I make ZERO money off of. Content I had to edit the shit out of for hours, just to get looking good.
HOW ABOUT THIS FURRIES? How about YOU stop blaming the tool and blame the people designing it malevolently. How about YOU blame all the sheeple consumer $agg0ts who for 2 entire generations now, have been straight up PIRATING music made by the VERY same class of individual hardworking artists you claim are being hurt by AI generators.
Oh but I forget, music isn't even considered an art by many of you. You know, music, the most used form of art on the planet. Try shopping/working/studying or watching your fave movie/show/video game with no music in the background. Maybe I'll give half a shit about AI pissing in your cheerios, when you stop normalizing the theft of MY human art form. People acting like it's just normal to NOT pay for music since the 1990s when napster decided it should be so. Funny, didn't see any of yall yelling bloody murder when technology started pushing real creatives out of the music making process. It was ok for posers to pretend they are musicians with a few clicks of a mouse but not ok when it comes to visual arts. Ok. :/
