Q: Regarding that chain you wear on your piercings, do you ever take it off whenever you're tending to babies, or do you tuck it out of reach?
I only ask, because babies have tendencies to grab hold of things that dangle or shine, such as jewellery and glasses and they do have strong grips. I'm only concerned if a baby you were nuzzling just grabbed your chain and either it pulled forwards, or you pulled your head back too sharpishly that the chain was ripped out, silting your nose and ear as it happened.
It's just that seeing that chain make me think of my aunt, who wore dangling ear rings when she was young, only for them to get caught in a chain-wire fence and thus splitting her earlobe as a result.
