Aku is the embodiment of evil
and was originally Yamatoko was who bottled up
all her trauma, anger, fear, destruction, repressed emotions
and self loathing because of dealing with
her guardian when she was a boy and being
abused and raped multiple times and that's
when Aku came out and kill her guardian
and everyone.
Then realizing what she did
the trauma was to great to bear so she now
has a split personality the sweet Yamatoko
that wished she originally could have been
the whole time and the dark and twisted side Aku.
Aku does comes up every now and then when the time
is right and Yamatoko keeps resisting him and rejecting
him of trying to control him and go back to his way
it's a never ending fight. Aku treats Yamatoko
friends as useful pawns to help him with anything
and likes to play with Becky really rough, teases her
and tries to take advantage of her but luckily Yamatoko
and her friends stop him from doing it.
And he hates being called in female pronouns
because he hates the decision that Yamatoko made
years ago. he rather be called by his original male pronouns.
