Obviously what happens is that Silver is kidnapped by Mephiles and forced to serve him in his domain of evil badness. However, it turns out that Mephiles actually has a bit of a crush on Silver, and he (being made of pure evil) can only express it by fetishizing the hedgehog and turning him into his made. When he does realize that he loves Silver, Mephiles bites him on the neck and turns him into a vampire, and they live a happy eternity of fun sexytimes complete with tentacles and Meph-copy gang bangs. And with the mind of Solaris forever distracted, the entire world is forever spared from his wrath.
