Here's your heads up that the next batch of posts are gonna be sketches of various quality.
For October, I did a drawing challenge (like half the internet, haha). I went with the Nonsense-Tober one because it seemed like the most fun at the time. Every day had two key words to do a picture based around. Was fun for encouraging creativity, though I did struggle with some days. Though many of them, I hope to revisit in the future to expand and complete into full drawings of some sort.

Day 1 was Pumpkin + Cage. I ended up creating a whole narrative for this. Probably because I was excited about the challenge. I hadn't done one like this since 2017. The pumpkin cage itself is decorated with pumpkin seed motifs and images of pumpkin blossoms. The pole is to mimic a pumpkin vine and leaves. Inside the cage is a Queen Bee, imprisoned to make sure her subjects work to pollinate and strengthen the pumpkin kingdom. (Bees are a major pollinator of pumpkins, apparently.)
I just ... really like the lil' bee queen too, NGL. I'm tempted to redraw her sometime. Or just more bees in general. Such plump, fuzzy, cute lil' things.
