I totally second this. Many artists complain about the lack of effort, but no one talks about the AI shortcomings, which aren't scarce precisely. No matter if it is a lack of research from their part out of simple laziness, or if it's more of an own econominal interest on the fandom, but truth is, no one has stopped to think that if machines can replicate them in something that's well known computers are essencialy bad at, then the problem may reside on the true quality of what's uploaded...

Yes! And yet - if an artist truly is an artist - they won't need to finish all of the art schools and draw million pictures per second, getting good. It is the idea what makes an artist. Without it - they are just an illustrator. Same with language models. It can generate you something that looks good, out of It's huge database. But for it to be actually good - it's needed to be relatable. To mean something more then just the theme it describes.
