Jenna took a deep breath, her tail twitching excitedly. Today was the day. The most important day of her life! Not only would their school be competing against their rivals, not only would Jenna be able to outshine her childhood bully Bethany Parkins on the opposing cheer team, but there would be coaches from some of the colleges Jenna was hopong to cheer at in attendance!
Since she'd found out, Jenna hadn't been able to sit still. She had spent every free minute practicing, perfecting her routines. It might have been admirable, if she hadn't also been shirking her duties around the house, to say nothing of Tydrem. The green dragon had been especially annoyed with Jenna's lack of attention in his previous tutoring sessions, and Jenna had blown off their last session all together.
Still, the teen assured herself, it would all be worth it after tonight. Whether or not the team won, if she could impress those coaches, Jenna would be the victor! Especially over Bethany!
