Oh yeah! Some streamers let anyone join. Some only let followers or subs play. Some make you join their Discord to get the link. Many require your Twitch account to be a certain age (to prevent people from creating new accounts to troll with). It is pretty good!
I mod for ArtWomble, who plays every Sunday starting around 5 or 6am (Vancouver time, although he splits his time between Wales and Norway so it is afternoon for him) and I am there every week!
