Background/History
All ponies who know her call her that because of her dark, secretive nature. She used to be a unicorn and became an alicorn in an unfair way. She always wanted more, wanted to be more powerful and be supreme. Her greed and selfishness wasn't approved by anyone, and when Princess Celestia wanted to deprive her of wings — she couldn't, because Shadow was already strong enough and her body was officially formed. Leaving no chance, Celestia and Luna banished Shadow from Equestria forever, threatening her with the death penalty if she dared to return...
None of the ponies knows where this dark alicorn is, but there are rumours that she lives in an eternally overgrown forest, among dark and scary trees on the border with the country.
But now all this is nothing more than a simple faity tale for the inhabitants...
