At a local convention, I decided to cosplay as a member of the Star Fox team. I came across a convincing looking spaceship and hopped aboard, unaware that it was the real deal!
Turns out, wearing a specific uniform on a specific ship had an effect - a transformative effect - on me! I turned in surprise as a tail burst from my pants and talons tore through my boots! Blue feathers also started growing from my arms and head, while a beak pushed out from my mouth!
RIIIIIP!!! Feathers burst through my gloves and talons finished shredding the remains of my boots, causing me to trip! I squinted as my face continued to push out, breaking the glass eyepiece of my communicator! My poor costume! I spent a lot of money on this cosplay, and now it was ruined!
Finally, I stood, a bit shocked and embarrassed! My communicator and boots were busted, and I apparently transformed into the team's ace pilot, Falco Lombardi, but at least most my my costume remained intact...
