In the Injustice universe, Sakura Crimson was left alone while her mother, Super Squirrel, and her regime ruled all of Mobius through fear. After hearing of the reason, she started to idolize her father, Jeremy Crimson, a.k.a. Super Fox, knowing he was a victim of what Joker Hound did to Super Squirrel, and as she grew up, she trained her powers in secrets. As a teenager, she took up Super Squirrel's old outfit and fought the Regime when they did something she knows is overstepping the boundaries of what a government should do, making her a prime recruit for Batfox's Insurgency. Sakura decided to join after being persuaded by Starblaze and her daughter, Tyris Kitten, a.k.a. Starflare, whose husband and father, Silverwing, was murdered by Regime member Redd Fox, who is Batfox's own son. With those three, as well as Rex Ruthor, who serves as the Insurgency's mole by being part of the Regime, Deathstroke Rabbit, Flash Hog, Spider-Wolf, and even Freedom Coyote and his son, Jacquess D'Coolette, Sakura, also known as Super Vixen, vows to help stop Super Squirrel and her Regime allies Ray Marvel, Wonder Mouse, Iron Rabbot, Black Anubis, and Aquamarine.
