I was tempted to call this a still life doodle but then I remembered that still lifes and doodles don't really mix. you might use a doodle to plan a still life but not as still life. also the modern banana, known as the Cavendish, is the second cultivar of the banana to reach mass popularity. the first, the Gros Michel, lost not because the cavendish tasted better but because of a banana plague that nearly wiped the Gros Michel out. the joys of mono crops.
