"It’s so… cold, and dark, and my wounds ache like shards of glass and searing metal stuck to my flesh, burrowing ever deeper. I had no choice but to run away. I have nothing left – no home, no family ...even the chance for a revenge was taken from me by the only one I thought of anything close to a father. How could I stay when the sight of him reminds me of it all?

I just hope the cold and darkness is enough to quell this burning ...at least for the night."
