"Lungri, Shere Khan's villainous persona, was keen to unmasked Ladybug and Chat Noire outside of sending Akumas. Though he despised them, the Bander-Log was bought off to spy upon his Akuma attacks and follow the heroic duo to wherever they may transform back to normal. This began when Mowgli's older brother, Akru, took Luri letting him and Sura go from their den poorly, making him into the Rocketeer.
Ladybug and Chat Noire were running the clock after saving the day but needed to shake the monkey spies. Help came in the form of Trixx, the Kwami of Illusion, who utilized her Mirage as a cover for them. This... wasn't without some side effects due to a Kwami's power being unfiltered by their Miraculous. She protested that Kwamis could do well without a Bearer and was too stubborn to let it go.
Her intervention did give Akela the idea for a secret spy of their own who could provide cover for the heroes. Trixx would find her Bearer when her Mirage made things worse with an Akumatized bull. Akru would become Furtive Fox to channel her power and refine it properly, spying on battles in order to secure an exit point for his fellow bearers.
Some Illusions would later become so life-like that it could trick all five senses with little mentorship. While his power might not be able to punch evil in the face, he's given very sharp reflexes to enhance his hand to hand combat to compensate. He would find Trixx to be fun company who would often help him being more honest with himself."

I'm back with more heroez for my AU. Here, I hope for Akru to be similar to Sokka with his sarcasm and the sensitivity that might not let on so much. Additionally, his initial role in the group is similar to that of Rena Furtive where he keeps tabs on Ladybug and Chat Noire's exits. He performs his Mirage to throw off any of the Bander-Log or spies generally, only stepping into the fray if need be.
Trixx's peppy personality is retained but with a bit more of an story to her where she wants to be a hero herself rather than becoming part of one. As such, she demonstrates just why Kwamis need a Miraculous to refine their powers whenever she jumps into the fray hastily.
