Iv'e been working on this for the last couple of days, and It was a bitch. Some of the paint would chip off and I'd have to repaint it...
I'm getting ahead here. This is the MegaMan X model kit from Kotobukiya that I repainted to have the color scheme of Bass from the classic series, I like how it looks like a modded skin for a fighting game.^^
X-Kai from the Ver. K.E. Trueforce line of figures (which are just recolors of X) has the backstory of Dr. Wily stealing blueprints of X from Dr. Light, and starts making his own X, then he just abandons the project in favor of completing Zero and the virus. 100 years pass and the X-Hunters (who one of them might be Dr. Wily himself or he just has Wily's memories, it's unclear) find this copy of X, finish it with the newer technology, and makes him the leader of the X-Hunters.
So the kick with him is the "state-of-the-art technology" gives him higher specs than the original X, while Trueforce kinda made a callback to Bass with the color scheme, I fully embraced it by asking "What if X-Kai had Bass' actual color patterns?" and here we are today.
